This represents over four decades of research and technical advancement in waterproofing. EXPERIENCE B-DRY® has successfully waterproofed nearly 200,000 basements. H.U.D. - F.H.A. EVALUATION The FHA has stated in writing that it has tested the B-DRY® SYSTEM for efficiency and effectiveness in correcting basement water leakage. Release No. 1199A (Ask to see certificates.) BOCA Evaluation The Building Officials and Code Administrators set the National Building Codes. The B-DRY® SYSTEM meets or exceeds BOCA's Strict Standards Research Report No. 97-66 (Ask to see certificates.) U.S. PATENTED SYSTEM The B-DRY® SYSTEM is protected by U.S. Patent No. 5,765,323. NON-CLOGGING PIPE Only B-DRY® has the exclusive FREE-FLO SYSTEM manufactured exclusively for B-DRY®. Others use corrugated pipe or ten foot sections of perforated PVC pipe covered with gravel, which tends to calcify and restrict flow of water. PROPER PLACEMENT ALONG SIDE FOOTING We do not place our pipe on top of footing or floor. B-DRY® considers these systems as taking shortcuts to waterproofing which can have negative effects on the foundation over time. Their capacity is also less than half that of the B-DRY® System. FLOOR SPACERS OR FLOOR LOCKS Floor spacers and floor locks are areas of the concrete floor which are not removed. This prevents all blocks from being bled and also makes it impossible to properly pitch the drain pipe. For this reason B-DRY® does not leave floor spacers or floor locks. BLEEDING OF BLOCK B-DRY® drills holes in every core of the bottom course of blocks. This then drains out water trapped in the walls. WALLS SEALED B-DRY® seals the walls with our exclusive RIGID SEALER. This is a non-permeable waterproofing material extruded into high strength sheets. CLOSED FLOOR AND COVE B-DRY® leaves no open gap between the floor and wall to allow water, bugs, vermin or odors to enter your home. INJECTION OF EXTERIOR WATERPROOFING SUBSTANCES B-DRY® does not use this method. HUD does not permit loans for this type of waterproofing. Better Business Bureau Waterproofing Handbook also does not recommend this procedure. BONDED - INSURED For your protection, B-DRY carries liability insurance. The Federal Trade Commission has stated that the B-DRY® warranty is a FULL warranty according the the Magnuson-Moss Act. Other companies offer you a Limited Warranty.
