I bought a Martha Stewart outdoor wicker set a couple of years ago and everytime I sit on it or rub against it?

Tips For Extending The Life Of Outdoor Wicker Furniture
There are few things that say summer like an outdoor wicker furniture set. You can just picture a tray setting on the table, filled with a pitcher of iced tea and a bowl of fresh lemons. Add a few tropical print cushions to the mix and you have the makings of an island paradise right in your own backyard.

Which Wicker Works?
Although antique wicker is a beautiful addition to the interior of your home, it is absolutely not designed to withstand the elements and the wear and tear of outdoor use.
