Is it possible or easy to drill through lead?
I have a 'Lead' sundial which was a gift from an aunt that lives in N.Z (what that has to do with the question i have no idea!) but anyway, i want to hang it up on my fence at the back of my house.
Ive put it 'down' on a stand but you cant see it unless you walk straight up to it. So i need to put 2 screw holes in it and then hang it up. Is this easy to do? The metal is really soft and bends quite easily.
This will drill easily with a metal drill bit. Make sure the drill bit is for metal and not for masonary or wood.

Teaching Baby To Walk - How You Can Support
It is at this stage when much is expected from parents and guardians who are looking after children take their first uneasy steps. Guiding children to walk requires not only patience but correct information as well. Some of the traditional and rather common methods have now been assailed to be defective. Leading-strings and go-cart, for example, have been suspected to cause among infants various physical defects, like undeveloped chests, distorted spine, confined lungs, and deformed legs. These defects are results of how the pliant bones of infants resist to pressure from imbalanced distribution of body weight due to improper practices and use of ill-advised contraptions.
When you as parent or guardian begin to notice distorted limbs or unnatural curves in the bones of infants, it is necessary for you to promptly address the problem. At least chances are high that these defects might yet be corrected when treated early enough. Corrective measures include, first, discarding the inappropriate practices of teaching babies to walk. Try molding both legs with a failry large stocking. This will prevent the usual movements of leg muscles that gave rise to the deformity. When the distorted bones begin to take their normal forms, and the leg muscles begin to show some amount of toughness, you may resume to guide your baby to walk without the help of devices. Meantime, other means of promoting your baby's overall health should be applied. Provide the child daily with a cold bath, or apply cold salt water on his body using sponge.
Be sure of what you can do best to help when your baby begins to walk. You can let your baby get the hang of it all by himself. Note that before they begin to walk, babies normally love crawling about. It helps them harden body muscles and promote overall health and vitality, without unduly tiring themselves out and putting uneven pressure on their bones. As they progress in health and physical growth, babies tend to be more active. They like to rise by themselves, snatching a chair or leg of a table. They may fail after several tries, but they will do it over and over, until they get themselves successfully up on their feet. They will find clutching to objects necessary to keep their balance. But in due time they will gain confidence in themselves and begin standing alone for a few seconds. Soon they will be taking their first few steps, unaided.
When your baby begins to walk it is best to let him learn it at his own pace. At first he will walk with shaky and uneasy steps, but it is part of the process not only for his learning but for the hardening of his bones and muscles.
But there is need for caution when the baby gets more active and staying outdoors. He should not be overly exposed to the elements. On the other hand, his natural inclination for amusement and exercise should not be dampened. It helps him promote his physical development and maintain his overall healthy condition. If your child is not very active and lacks exercise, you may encourage him to try other ways of keeping himself fit. A donkey or horse ride tone up body muscles just as well without much physical strain.
Aside from the exhilarating effect of horseback riding, this exercise is also of great benefit to the child's lungs. Big amounts of fresh air get into the lungs and envigorate lung muscles. It helps bring more oxygen to the blood and aids blood circulation.
Thus there are many opportunities for jumpstarting your child to a healthy and active life as early as when your baby begins to walk.
